Vitality Fitness Assessment Partner Benefit Guide Overview AIA Vitality members can understand more about their current level of fitness by having a Vitality Fitness Assessment with a personal trainer at any True Fitness centre. Members are awarded up to 1,500 Vitality Points for each assessment.
AIA Vitality members can also earn Vitality Points for their National Service Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT), an annual test that all Singaporean males need to undergo until age 45.
Who may use this benefit? All AIA Vitality members are entitled to the Vitality Fitness Assessment benefit. About the Vitality Fitness Assessment Benefit
You can go for your Vitality Fitness Assessment at any True Fitness centres. The cost of the Vitality Fitness Assessment is $35 (inclusive of GST).
Alternatively, if you have already completed your Individual Physical Proficiency Test (IPPT), you will be able to earn Vitality Points for this.
You can earn up to 1,500 Vitality Points for each Vitality Fitness Assessment or IPPT. Fitness Assessment points are capped at 3,000 Vitality Points per membership year. You can earn the full 3,000 Vitality Points from your Vitality Fitness Assessment and/or IPPT in a membership year provided the assessments are done 6 months apart and the results are in the healthy range, or a Pass is achieved for IPPT.

How does the Benefit work?
Step 1: Book your Vitality Fitness Assessment
Go to the Vitality Fitness Assessment page on AIAVitality.com.sg to find a location nearest you. Make an appointment for your Vitality Fitness Assessment by calling the True Fitness centre of your choice. Refer to the True Fitness website at for an updated list of locations.

Note the following is advised before you go for the assessment:
Food consumption should be avoided at least 90 minutes before the Fitness Assessment appointment.
Smoking should be avoided 30 minutes prior to blood pressure being measured.
Caffeine should be avoided up to 3 hours before the assessment.
Alcohol consumption should be avoided for 24 hours before participation in exercise.
Avoid exercise or strenuous physical activity on the day of the test.
Avoid performing abnormally strenuous activity on the day prior to testing.
Clothes suitable for exercise should be worn.
Step 2: Go for your Vitality Fitness Assessment
Present your AIA Vitality membership card at the True Fitness centre, and inform the Customer Service Officer that you have booked an appointment for the Vitality Fitness Assessment.
Pay the $35 assessment fee before the assessment begins.
You will need to sign your consent before proceeding with the assessment and answer a short questionnaire about your medical history, current physical activity levels and your fitness goals.
The assessment consists of the following components:
Biometrics (height, weight, waist circumference and body fat percentage)
Step 3: Receive your results and feedback immediately
After the assessment is completed, the personal trainer will capture your results and provide verbal feedback on your fitness goals and how to meet them. You will also receive the original copy of these results which should be authenticated with the True Fitness stamp and endorsed by the personal trainer.

Step 4: Capture your results on the website
Log ontand go to the Vitality Fitness Assessment page. This can be found under Know Your Health > Vitality Fitness Assessment. You must then input your results from the form you were given after the assessment. You will need to capture:
Step 5: Receive a feedback report and earn Vitality Points
Once your results have been captured, you will be awarded Vitality Points based on the results. You will also be given an online summary feedback of your results. Vitality Points will be reflected on your Vitality Points Statement within 24 hours after the results are captured.

You can complete the Vitality Fitness Assessment at any True Fitness centre (True Yoga and Bikram Original Hot Yoga centres are excluded).

Vitality Points
You can complete the Vitality Fitness Assessment twice a year, six months apart and earn up to 3,000 Vitality Points each membership year. For each assessment, you may be awarded the following Vitality Points:

Your results are in the healthy range if your heart rate beats per minute is above average or better, according to your age. Please see the table below:

In addition, you may be awarded Vitality Points when you have your BMI and blood pressure measured during the Vitality Fitness Assessment. This is provided you have not already been awarded any Vitality Points for these measurements earlier in the membership year.

How does the Benefit work?
If you are an Operationally Ready National Service man, you will have to complete and pass your IPPT test within any IPPT year.
Step 2: Capture your results on the website
After you have obtained your IPPT results, log onto AIAVitality.com.sg and go to the Vitality Fitness Assessment page. This can be found under Know Your Health > Vitality Fitness Assessment.
You must then input your results and upload an image of your completion certificate.
Once your results have been captured, you will be awarded Vitality Points based on the results.

Important Points to remember
There are no limits on the number of Vitality Fitness Assessments that you can have in a membership year, but you will only be awarded Vitality Points for assessments done twice a year, six months apart.
It is your responsibility to log onto AIAVitality.com.sg and capture your results in order to receive your Vitality Points. You may need to upload an image of your results as a part of this process.
If your Vitality Fitness Assessment results are not in the healthy range or if you fail your IPPT, you will only earn 300 Vitality Points for doing each assessment.
Vitality Points can be earned from participation in the Vitality Fitness Assessment and/or IPPT in a membership year provided the assessments are done six (6) months apart.
Your entitlement to, and enjoyment of, this Benefit is subject to the rules herein and the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions (see www.aiavitality.com.sg/memberportal/terms_and_conditions). In the event of any conflict between this Benefit Guide and the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions, the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions shall prevail.
By signing up for a Vitality Fitness Assessment under this Benefit or uploading your IPPT test results to earn Vitality Points, you acknowledge that you have read these rules, the AIA Vitality Terms and Conditions (see www.aiavitality.com.sg/memberportal/terms_and_conditions), including the disclaimers below, and that you accept and will be bound by the terms hereof.
In case of dispute, the decision of AIA Singapore and True Fitness shall be final.
