CARREY FRIEND IOMLGBT
NEWSLETTER APRIL 2011
I know we broke our promise in 2010 to try and get out more regular newsletters. I also know that the web site is not as up to date as it should be. However last year there was not much to report. Now we have lots to report. Exciting times. Please read on, do not be put off by the size of the info sent out with this newsletter. This newsletter, and its attachments and enclosures, is being posted to the CF IOM LGBT web site, IOMLGBT Facebook page, TQ Facebook page and electronically and by surface post to our mailing list members OK, so what have you got today? Well first notice of the 20th CF AGM, accounts and an Agenda. It is to be at Guys & Dolls in Walpole Avenue on 18th May at 19.30. Please attend, as the meeting will also be discussing activities for the future, including a restructure aimed at broadening its base and activities and services on offer. Second a proposal for consultation. Please read it carefully and respond, by 30 April, so we have an idea of what sort of activities and services and facilities you want us to try and provide. We think it is exciting and worthwhile. Third a list of what is on activity wise over the next few months We are still offering one on one befriending counselling and support via Carrey Friend. The walking group stared in 2010 is grown from strength to strength and is offering walks every three weeks all year around. The web site is in the process of being up dated.
