A single dose treatment containing Moxidectin for the control of adult and immature redworms and roundworms and Praziquantel for the treatment of
tapeworms. Use Spring and Autumn as a single dose for tapeworm. 13 week dosing intervals. One tube will treat a 575 kg horse. Safe to use on foals from 6 1/2 months, mares ponies and horses. Do not use during pregnancy and laction in mare. Noromectin Equine Wormer Paste kills the adult and larval stages of the important internal parasites of horses. These include small redworms which are resistant to benzimidazole-based wormers, the arterial stages of the large redworm, lungworms and bots. Contains ivermectin and each syringe will treat 700kg bodyweight.
Strongid P Paste for horses contains pyrantel embonate pyrantel, a wormer effective against adult large and small redworms, ascarids, pinworms and at a
double dose, some tapeworms. It does not kill worm eggs, larvae, lungworms or
bots. Tapeworms are carried by forage mites which eat the tapeworm eggs and are swallowed in turn by the grazing horses. The tapeworm dose is TWICE that needed for other worms ie two syringes for an average horse. It may be given twice a year at beginning and end of the grazing season. Normal roundworm dosage needs to be repeated every 4 -6 weeks. One tube will treat 600kg but two tubes are needed to treat for tapeworm.

Panacur wormer for horses is apple & cinnamon flavoured so it may be of help for horses that are harder to worm, contains fenbendazole and wormer for about 4-6 weeks. Treats 600kg body weight of horse and is suitable for pregnant mares and foals.
Panacur Horse Wormer Granules contain fenbendazole. Last 6-8 weeks. One sachet will treat 300kg bodyweight. In relative terms that means that two sachets are equal to one panacur horse wormer paste. The granules are mixed with feed for easy administation.
Panacur Equine Guard-Horse wormer for the control of small and large redworms including encysted inhidited and developing stages of small redworms. Panacur also kill roundworm eggs. A 5 day course containing Fenbendazole for the control of small and large redworms including encysted inhidited and developing stages of small redworms. Panacur also kill roundworm eggs. Routine treatment should be given during the summer. For the treatment of encysted
redworm use in the spring and autumn. 225ml over 5 days treats up to 600kg. Safe to use on pregnant mares.

Eqvalan horse wormer paste contains Ivermectin and is effective against most
common worms except tapeworm and encysted small redworms. It treats lungworm in horses and donkeys. A dose for Bots is best given after a hard frost has killed the last bot flies ie around Christmas. CAN BE USED FOR DONKEYS. Dosing needs to be repeated every 8 - 10 weeks. Eqvalan is not available as
granules. If tapeworm cover is needed a dose of EQUITAPE (praziquantel),
EQUIMAX or a ’double dose’ of Pyrantel (Pyratape P or Strongid P) may be given at the beginning and end of the grazing season. In addition Panacur Guard or Equest may be given ideally in November for encycsted small redworms. One tube treats 600kg. Bimectin is a wormer for horses and contains the active ingredient ivermectin it is an oral paste and is apple flavoured to improve palatability, available here from the equine pharmacy, horse wormers department and may be useful for use in horses who are difficult to worm it treats large and small strongyles, lungworms, pinworms, ascarids, hairworms, large-mouth stomach worms, neck and intestinal threadworms and stomach bots.
