New Carsystem Product We have replaced the products KR Flexi and KR Rigid by new 2 comp. PU adhesives. These adhesives are called CS - Power Mix. The properties of the new 2 comp. adhesives are significantly improved compared to the previous ones so that CS – Power Mix is a competitive product for this market. CS – Power Mix is available in two colours: black and natural / honey coloured. Both products do not differ in the degree of hardness (flexible / rigid) but only in the colour. Now we have one product for universal use in our range. CS – Power Mix is also available in 25 ml cartridges for quick and small repairs. The 25 ml cartridges can be applied without a gun. We have also added a primer and a reinforcing tape for better adhesion and stabilisation of the repair. These new Carsystem products are immediately available and can be ordered under the part numbers mentioned below.
• CS – Power Mix CS – Power Mix is a 2 comp. polyurethane material for structural and quick repairs and bonding of plastic parts. The 25 ml cartridges are used by hand, the 50 ml cartridges are mixed with a mixing gun (CS-Power Mix Gun Part No. 140.927). The dual cartridges are supplied in the mixing ratio 1:1. They are automatically mixed with the static mixing tip (CS-Power Mixer Part No. 140.926). A viscous compound for repairing, filling, bonding and sealing is produced. CS – Power Mix is used to repair plastic bumpers, fenders, bucket seats, spoilers, headlight fasteners, jetski, surfboards, sports goods, plastic coverings and housings. CS – Power Mix fills holes, fractures and seams. It also bonds to metal, wood, stone, concrete and glass. CS – Power Mix can be used for large repairs, e.g. for filling cavities. It is suitable for the automotive industry, autobody vehicle construction, engineering parts, tank and mould construction. News 13-2008
