Thank you for your great letters of testimony again this month - what a blessing you are to me! Please keep those wonderful letters coming - they fill me with such joy to know you are getting well. I've also had so many emails lately on the huge value of our Patches that people are using, and the vast improvements in various health conditions - I'm blown away! Plus loads of people losing masses of weight without hunger and loving their new diet! Wow - really rewarding to hear from you - thanks so much for writing in. No space for the testimonies this month though - maybe next month. EVENTS: Weight Loss "Spoily" Morning - 17th July We had a lovely morning at a gorgeous venue for the Weight Loss Talk on the 29th May, and as we have many people wanting to attend another one, there will be one held on 17th July at 8.30am at the same venue (and probably others if the numbers are anything to go by). This is the latest healthy 'diet' information around, and works like a dream - get healthy and lose weight without any hunger, while eating the most delicious food on the planet. Studies show that this is about the only way to get slim, look after your heart, cholesterol, blood sugar, and just about everything else. Really remarkable! There is no deprivation and no, it's not a fad, I promise! Contact us on (021) 794-3052 or email us on pa@sallyanncreed.co.za and we'll send you an invitation. Unfortunately there is room for only 30 people as I like small intimate breakfasts and cosy gatherings, so first come first served. Let me tell you more about this event.
We will start with a wonderful 3-course breakfast (come hungry!) - the scrummiest, healthy food you never thought you could ever eat and still lose weight - in a 5-star guest house, with a gorgeous garden, and in a beautiful setting. We'll then commence the talk after breakfast and be finished around 11am; linger if you like. Hope you can join us! A pack of notes, recipes and guidelines will be given out to attendees. [This one will be slightly different from the one last week - it's the "new improved" version so I don't get bored. I never repeat the same talk - ever. I change it every time I do it, & add new information.] He that but looketh on a plate of ham and eggs to lust after it hath already committed breakfast with it in his heart - CS Lewis June Contents: - Weight Loss Morning (July) - Did you Know this about Vitamin B12? - Cholesterol (Consider this) - Latest study on Saturated Fat & Cholesterol (it may surprise you) - Smile - Videos of the Month (good ones!) - Sally-Ann's Green Drink Recipe - Salmon in an Almond Flour Crust (way too yummy) - Contents of May E-Mag - June Special: Goji Berries and Sundried Tomatoes less 25%
Did You Know? Plant foods said to contain B12 actually contain B12 analogues (cobamides) that block intake of, & increase need for, B12. Not much good! Animal protein is the only "complete" and sensible protein to eat; the rest is a waste of time. Cholesterol - Consider This: - Cholesterol is essential for mobility and a healthy nervous system - Plants contain no cholesterol - Plants can’t move
- Plants don’t have a nervous system - Cholesterol is to animals what chlorophyll is to plants - Cholesterol is good, essential, normal and healthy!

Latest NEW Study (May 2013): NO Link between Saturated Fat & High Cholesterol If you are not convinced yet regarding saturated fat, high cholesterol and heart disease then I suggest you click on the link below and read this review from the journal - Advances in Nutrition May 2013. Here we have again yet another review of the literature stating that - the influence of dietary fats on serum cholesterol has been overstated, and the connection of saturated fats causing heart disease is still missing, this study makes the author wonder how saturated fats got such a bad reputation in the health literature. What a delicious piece of news for the nutritionists (like me!) that have been saying this all along. It truly excites me no end - hope you are excited too? It’s well worth the read and then pass it on to family members who are still eating margarine, and who are terrified of saturated fat. This is GOOD news!!! Smile:still one of my all-time favourites Videos of the Month Big Sugar – superb documentary on how the slave trade was based onHere's another great one : Eat Agave and SPECIAL PRICES FOR JUNE Goji Berries & Sundried Tomatoes - Less 25% as we are redoing our price list in time for our new website, so you benefit. Phone or email us onfor a full pricelist. (Special prices for health stores too) No Science to Back the "Blood Group Diet" Well of course we have known this for ages but now it’s official – there is no science to back this fad - so say Belgian researchers who tried their best to find some evidence to support it in nearly 1500 research papers. There simply is none. The professionals already knew this, says study's senior author, Dr Philippe Vandekerckhove at the Belgian Red Cross-Flanders in Mechelen. The blood type diet is al based on evolution anyway, and long ago proved dead in the water. D’Adamo even agrees there is no direct research on the subject - it’s nothing more than theory (and a bad theory at that). I personally suspect it is due to removing most of the junk food if any effect is felt by anyone. (American Journal of Clinical Nutrition, May 22, 2013) I'm living so far beyond my income that we may almost be said to be living apart– EE Cummings Sally-Ann's Green Drink Recipe: Last month's testimony by Barbara elicited so many calls and letters as to what was in the Green Drink she mentioned I gave her was and to her wonderful health response to it, I said I'd put it into this newsletter. Very simple really! Get your blender out, pour in about 1/2 a cup of water and then as you blend, add in as many different green leaves as you can find from spinach to celery, kale, bok choy, watercress (my favourite), and even a little cucumber and avo - anything green, and drink. Not delicious at all, but don't add fruit and don't extract the juice - "eat" the whole smoothie.
