Future Tenant Trespass Residency Series (February 2011)
Member of ensemble that won competition to perform original work. Composed a thirty-minute original theater work with full underscoring. Performed three times in Pittsburgh.
ASCAP Jazz Composer Award - Finalist (Fall 2010) Brevard Music Center(Summer 2009)
Auditioned for and accepted into intensive summer study program to study with faculty from the Peabody Conservatory and Montclair University. Keith Lockhart, Music Director.
Lyrica Chamber Music Young Composers Award (Fall 2008)
Original string quartet “Simple Machines” chosen from entries from several universities throughout the Northeast. The piece was premiered at a concert in November 2008.
Carols for a Cure Charity CD (Fall 2008)
Orchestrated and recorded, using software synthesizers, a track recorded by the cast of the Broadway show Xanadu. The CD, released annually, is a collection of a holiday songs recorded by the casts of current Broadway shows.
New Jersey’s Governor School for Music and the Arts(Summer 2006)
Selected as the only jazz pianist for intensive, month-long program following a statewide competition among rising seniors. Alexander Weston Grand Prize Winner: 2007 and 2006 - Music Composition Competition New Jersey Council for the Arts/Montclair Arts Museum
This composition contest, sponsored by the New Jersey Arts Collective, sought compositions inspired by pieces of art chosen from the Montclair Art Museum in Montclair, New Jersey.

Accepted into program following highly selective competition. Attended master classes, jazz theory, and history classes taught by established jazz musicians. The program concluded with a performance with a jazz combo at the NJ Performing Arts Center.
